Songs of the Revolution
Step back in time to hear the music popular at the time of America's beginning. Dressed in a colonial gown and playing authentic instruments, Diane Taraz traces the path to the America Revolutionary War through songs created at the time, by both sides. She particularly focuses on the experiences of those usually left out of historical accounts, including women, servants, and people who were enslaved.
