Intro to Marblehead Town Government: Marblehead Town Planner Becky Curran Cutting
The Intro to Marblehead Town Government series continues with a presentation by Becky Curran Cutting, Marblehead's Town Planner, on Monday Jan. 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the public meeting room at the library at 3 Brook Road. Cutting has worked for the Town of Marblehead since June 1988 as town planner and also the town’s chief procurement officer. With her understanding of planning policy, state zoning regulations and local zoning bylaws, Cutting has been involved in a wide range of planning issues including historic preservation, affordable housing, transportation, zoning, project management and grant writing for the town. She earned her degree in Environmental Design from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
