Adults ages 20 and up will get a behind-the-scenes look at how 3D design and printing work using Tinkercad and the library’s 3D printers. Library staff will demonstrate the process of creating a digital model, preparing it for printing, and turning the design into a physical object. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with simple design changes during the session or continue creating designs at home to submit to library staff for printing later.
Space is limited to 10 participants ages 20 and up, and online registration is required. Please register at tinyurl.com/Abbot-3D-Demo. This program is led by Dan Saulnier, Technical Resource Specialist at the library.
Funding for this program has been provided by the Abbot Public Library Foundation.
