Held during Homelessness Awareness Month, this unique, family-friendly event combines a cozy shared dinner with hands-on service projects that directly support Birthday Wishes’ mission to deliver birthday celebrations to children living in shelters. Since 2002, Birthday Wishes has worked to support the social-emotional needs of families experiencing homelessness by helping build a foundation for healthy self-confidence and self-esteem through milestone celebrations.
The organization empowers caregivers to host celebrations in their shelter, giving them a way to show their child how much they are loved and valued. Birthday Wishes programs complement the mental health
