John Melley’s career spans more than three decades in Boston radio, including over 23 years with CBS Radio before its merger with Audacy in 2017. He retired in March 2025 as the Commercial Production Director for Boston’s award-winning Mix 104.1 (WWBX). His talent and creativity earned him the 2022 Massachusetts Broadcaster's Association Sound Bites Award for "Best Individual Commercial."
Beyond broadcasting, John’s voice has been featured in TV commercials, video games, audio books, corporate training, and major brand campaigns.
A sought-after podcast voice, John is the opening voice for Pat Flynn’s multi award-winning Smart Passive Income podcast (47 million+ downloads) and has worked on other major shows including Amy Porterfield’s Online Marketing Made Easy, Michael Stelzner’s Social Media Examiner, and The American Warrior Show.
John is also the creator and host of The Voice Over Marketing Podcast, twice nominated for “Best Voice Over Podcast of the Year.”
