What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
There is a desperate need for bookkeeping for the 16 million self-employed people in the U.S. As founders we were all self-employed at one point and truly appreciate the challenges of being an army of one. We wanted to eliminate the choice of focusing on your business or books, and we have succeeded!
What do you love most about your job?
I think receiving feedback from clients is clearly the most rewarding part of our job. “In seven years of running my own business every approach I tried required me to be the bookkeeper.
