- Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles, to various depths through the client's skin, at specific points on the body. These points are located along 14 main paths, called channels or meridians, which cover the body. Based on the concept that a vital energy called Qi ("chee") travels along these pathways, illness or pain occurs when this energy flow is blocked or weakened. Stimulating acupuncture points along the meridian restores the balance in the body, helping to relieve symptoms such as acute and chronic pain, insomnia, depression, anxiety, dyspepsia, hypertension, infertility, menstrual irregularities, etc., and to promote wellness.
- Facial Acupuncture is an organic process of healing and nourishment for the face that builds over a series of sessions. The treatments are based on Chinese Medicine Principles, so in addition to the acupuncture, you should expect some coaching about at-home techniques and dietary changes. Facial rejuvenation and cosmetic acupuncture provides a substantial boost to the appearance of the face while also building a better foundation for facial youthfulness and that ‘feel great’ glow. It is suitable for men and women who desire a more vibrant, youthful appearance. Cosmetic acupuncture helps create collagen naturally, stimulate nerve pathways, bring nourishment back to the face, clear wrinkles, eliminate dark circles, decrease puffiness under the eyes, and lift sagging skin.
- The treatments are provided by our friendly and knowledgeable provider, Dr. Shahla Bastar, who is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She is licensed and registered in both MA and RI.
- The NEAHC clinic has a welcoming, clean, and soothing environment, where treatments are performed in private room for our clients.
- These packages are available to new clients only. Previous clients are encouraged to contact the clinic to make follow-up appointments.
- We follow all CDC and local health authority guidelines in order to protect the safety and wellness of our clients and colleagues. This includes, but is not limited to, frequent antimicrobial disinfection of the entire clinic, wearing appropriate personalized protective equipment, observing social distancing, constant air filtration, and UV-assisted room disinfection between each treatment session.
