    South Africa has been making wine since the seventeenth century—that’s longer than anywhere in the United States. This offer features four wines, including some of the premium wines of Radford Dale— wines that can compete with those made anywhere in the world.

    Featured Wines:

    • Radford Dale Syrah-Grenache-Cinsault: An eclectic blend, the wine features a mix of Syrah, Grenache, and Cinsault, all classic grapes of the French Rhone Valley. A vivid purple color, this wine has enticing notes of berry, spices, earth, lavender, and a little licorice. This complex and delicious wine is a great pair for mushroom dishes and pepper sauces.

    • New World Cabernet-Merlot: This wine is a blend of two of the world’s most popular red grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It has ripe red fruit and cherry flavors leading on the palate. It is well-structured and wonderfully complex. This is the perfect wine to pair with big and hearty beef dishes.

    • Granite Ridge Chenin Blanc: In its past, Chenin Blanc was only used in the lowest quality wines, but now Chenin Blanc is one of South Africa’s signature grapes. This white is crisp, dry and refreshing, with notes of soft and ripe fruit, balanced by the right note of acidity. The Chenin Blanc is also an excellent food wine and should be consumed with all sorts of food.

    • Radford Dale Chardonnay: Unlike your typical California Chardonnay, this vibrant and classically styled Chardonnay is absent of the buttery and oaky flavors and delivers an austere well-structured wine. It is a great match for fish entrees but will also serve as a refreshing sipper on the patio on a temperate evening.
