Sugar Grove Baptist Church of Butler Missions Conference, Aug 29 (6:30 p.m.) & 30 (11:00 a.m.)
Acts 1:8 instructs Christ’s followers to go forth and share the Good News. In keeping with that calling, Sugar Grove Baptist Church of Butler, located at 925 Sugar Grove Church Road, Butler, will host a Missions Conference August 29–30 to share how missionaries are fulfilling the Great Commission.
On Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m., featured speakers will include a recent ETSU graduate who will share about campus ministries and a couple who ministered in the Philippines for 22 years. An ice cream social will follow the service.
On Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m., speakers will include a compassion ministry specialist from Elizabethton and a couple currently serving on the mission field in southeast Asia. A potluck lunch will follow.
Please join us for this special time of worship, fellowship, and encouragement as we learn how God is at work through missionaries and ministries around us and around the world. Everyone is welcome!
