Join us for Living History Saturday at the Museum of Butler TN as we welcome award-winning historian and author **Michael C. Hardy** for a special **Author Talk & Book Signing** featuring his book *Western North Carolina & Eastern Tennessee in the American Revolution*.
Hardy will explore the powerful and often-overlooked role Southern Appalachia played in the American Revolution, including the frontier communities, Patriots, Loyalists, Native nations, and everyday families whose choices helped shape the future of the nation. This was a region where the struggle for independence was deeply personal — and where history often unfolded neighbor to neighbor.
Guests will have the opportunity to hear from the author, purchase books, and have them signed following the program.
While you are here, experience the Museum of Butler and discover the story of **“The Town That Wouldn’t Drown,”** along with the people, places, and traditions of Old Butler and the Watauga Valley.
