Sydney Batch, and more as we rise together and organize for the work ahead. Together we will celebrate our victories, protest power grabs, organize locally and throughout the State of North Carolina, and support and defend Democracy for all NC Progressive voters have a lot to be proud of. Coalition groups flipped seats, broke the super-majority, won the Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State and a Supreme Court Justice seat. The coming years under Trump 2.0 will be difficult-at-best, so we must continue to organize, strategize, and mobilize. WILL YOU JOIN US? WILL YOU DRIVE? If you are willing and able to drive, please check the appropriate box when you register or contact Indivisible Watauga for more details. DO YOU NEED A RIDE? If you need a ride to the rally, please check the appropriate box when you register or contact Indivisible Watauga for scheduling. WHERE WILL WE MEET? Departure location(s) will be determined based on the number of participants from Watauga County. WHAT TIME WILL WE LEAVE? The rally rally starts at 1:00pm EST; Halifax Mall is approximately 3-hours from Boone; we will depart from Watauga County at 9:00am EST. This departure time will allow for pit-stops along the way and parking on arrival. WHAT TIME DOES THE RALLY START? 1:00pm EST. WHERE CAN WE PARK? Parking locations identified thus far include: –––> State Government Visitor Parking Lot #2 333 N. Salisbury Street - 1 block west of Halifax Mall. Free on Sundays –––> State Government Parking Deck (West), 329 N McDowell Street - 2 blocks southwest of Halifax Mall. Free on Sundays. –––> Person Street Lot, 419 N Person Street - 2 blocks east of Halifax Mall. $5 for 2-3 hours. WHAT TIME DOES THE RALLY END? 3:00pm EST. WHAT TIME WILL WE LEAVE THE RALLY? We encourage you to stay for the full event, but will leave that decision to each carpool driver and their passengers to decide.
