Brentano String Quartet
They open with the whimsical, heavenly Op. 74 Quartet, nicknamed the “harp” for all its playful plucking and strumming. Also featured are one of his early Op. 18 quartets, which take inspiration from the balance and perfection of the Classical era, and the daring “Razumovsky” Quartet in C major that Beethoven wrote during his bold, heroic period.
