Philanthropy Tank, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and inspiring the next generation of CHANGEmakers, proudly announces the eight student finalist programs and the Philanthropist Investors/mentors who will participate in its 11TH Annual Finals Event, to be held on March 24, 2026, at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
Philanthropy Tank challenges and equips students to design and implement sustainable solutions to real community challenges. Students in grades 8 through 11 are invited to apply for the opportunity to receive mentorship and funding to bring their student-led initiatives to life.
Student Finalist Programs.
The following projects were selected through a competitive application and vetting process and represent both public and private schools across Palm Beach County:
• Girls Shooting for Success – A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts
• Smiles for Seniors – William T. Dwyer High School
• Civics4Kidz – Suncoast Community High School
• The Fine Print Project – Spanish River Community High School
• Mix, Measure, Mentor: A Cross-Curricular Bakery & Cooking Lab for Youth– Palm Beach Lakes Community High School and Conniston Middle School
• Artful Abilities – A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts
• Dance Costumes 4 Kids – William T. Dwyer High School and The Pine School
• Café Compost – Suncoast Community High School
Collectively, these programs address critical needs in education, elder care, the arts, dance, science, and environmental sustainability, reflecting the diverse passions and creativity of students from across the county.
“We are thrilled by the overwhelming response to our call for applications,” said Kelley Whiter, J.D., CEO of Philanthropy Tank. “It is inspiring to see students from so many schools across Palm Beach County step forward with thoughtful, innovative ideas to positively impact their communities. Selecting just eight finalists was no easy task for our vetting committee.”
Philanthropy Investors for the 11th Annual Finals Event
At the Finals Event, Philanthropist Investors (PIs) will evaluate each finalist program and determine which initiatives they will fund and mentor through completion. In addition to financial support, PIs provide guidance in areas such as budgeting, marketing, operations, and long-term sustainability.
This year’s Philanthropy Investors are:

• Vicki Pugh, Chief Executive Officer, Advancement Experts
• Kimberly Spiro, Volunteer and Philanthropist
