Iberville Parish Health Fair & Community Celebration
Ochsner Health will host the Iberville Parish Health Fair & Community Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at MSA West Academy, 57955 St. Louis Road in Plaquemine. The free family-friendly event will feature an Easter egg hunt and games, as well as offering health education, cancer prevention resources and no-cost health screenings for the local community.
Health services will include screenings for blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol, colorectal cancer risk assessments with take-home FIT kits, lung cancer risk assessments, and CPR education. Attendees can also explore a walk-through inflatable colon exhibit and participate in speaker sessions focused on wellness and cancer prevention.
The event is free and open to the public. Iberville Parish residents are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the health resources available.
