Community Clean Up Day with Clean Pelican- 9am to 12pm Help our community thrive by volunteering your time to clean up around the museum, including University Lakes/City-Brooks Park, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We recommend grown-up volunteers for this event. Supplies and gear are provided. The first 200 volunteers will receive a pass for 1 adult and 1 child to come back to play at the museum, generously sponsored by Baton Rouge Water Company. Museum tours will also be open to volunteers who inquire! Water Play in Knock Knock- 10am to 12pm Learn about Louisiana water systems and how we can protect them through hands-on activities, developed by Knock Knock’s Learning Innovation team and the LSU AgCenter’s 4-H Youth Wetlands Program, through support from Louisiana’s Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority.
