Slow Stitch Workshop with Edem
This family workshop targeting all ages introduces participants to basic embroidery techniques. Embroidering encourages slowing down and operating in a flow state. Edem will also teach practical methods of mending and repurposing garments and household items to renew and extend their material lifespan. Participants can bring worn out clothing items for repair, and engage in meditative practice of stitching/ reinforcing messages to themselves or loved ones that will populate the gallery space over time.
