Women's Empowerment Week

On Saturday, March 18 Sistars of Empowerment Social Organization presents Women's Empowerment Week 2023 Kickoff Event at 2:00pm. It will located at the Greenwell Springs Library 11300 Greenwell Springs Road Baton Rouge LA 70814. Our annual festival of empowering events for women and girls is set to be an amazing occasion. Celebrating women and girls in a positive way. This week in Women's History Month is a celebration of unity, service, compassion and appreciation of women givers and leaders in our communities worldwide. Highlighting our experiences and being a model for our youth is a goal during Women's Empowerment Week as we strive to be the change that we want to see in the world. Join us March 18-26, 2023 for our annual festival of events both virtual and in-person. The event lineup includes our Women’s Empowerment Tea Party, Books & Brunch Female Author Showcase, Empowered Diva Awards Networking Mixer, Mommy & Me Barbie Brunch, Chemistry & Cupcakes STEM workshop for girls, Sistarhood Saturday Toiletry Giveaway and a list of virtual events that can be found at www.sistarsinc.com/wew2023. All events are free and open to the public. All in-person events are being held at local EBR Library locations.
