Bastille Day will be held on Thursday, July 14 2016 at 6:30 pm at Le Cheri, at 18th and Rittenhouse streets. Guests will enjoy seating al fresco in Le Cheri's patio or at the tables in the street that will be open for this exceptionnal occasion. They will get a taste of France with a French themed buffet prepared by Pierre Calmels, who was Georges Perrier's former chef de cuisine at le Bec Fin for six years before opening Bibou.
The event will also include an open bar with wine, champagne and sparkling white sangria, music by Dj Robbie Rob, a silent auction and a raffle of two round trip tickets to Paris on Delta Airlines.
Bastille Day not only is a great celebration and an iconic event among the French community, it is also the Alliance Francaise's annual fundraiser, which helps continue the non-profit's mission: The promotion of French culture and language in the greater Philadelphia area.
About the Alliance Francaise:
The mission of the Alliance Francaise is to encourage the study of French cultures and language and to foster cultural, intellectual, artistic and friendly exchanges between the Frenchspeaking world and the local community. The Alliance Francaise de Philadelphie is a place where French people, francophones and francophiles can meet and get to know one another.
