COMEDY FOR A CAUSE
7th Annual Comedy For A Cause, presented by Friends of the Kern County Animal Shelters Foundation, is a stand-up comedy show fundraiser featuring Raise the Woof entertainers, some of our country’s up-and-coming and seasoned comedians, having appeared on shows like the The Talk, Jimmy Fallon Show and Comedy Central. Proceeds benefit local shelters and rescues.
Animal shelters and rescues in Kern County require a lot of support, equipment, and deal with rising costs and external pressures. We believe shelters and rescues shouldn't have to worry about funding of their organization. Since 2005, Friends Foundation has and continues to serve Kern County animal shelters and rescues in directly funding their needs so they can get back to doing their great work.
