A Taste of the Arts
A Taste of the Arts is an evening for the greater Bakersfield community to come to the CSUB campus, enjoy tasty treats and wine, and be an audience for the outstanding creative work of student art-makers and performers in the CSUB Departments of Art & Art History and Music & Theatre. Funded in memory of long-time supporter of the arts, Dorothy Zaninovich, the event is free of charge and suitable for all ages.
Art – Take a tour of the teaching studios in the Visual Arts Building. View student-created works in the Art Studio, Ceramics facility, and the Geodesic Dome. Watch your little ones create their own works of art, guided by teaching artists.
Music – Take in some live music performed by our instrumental and vocal music students.
Theatre – View scenes from the Fall CSUB Theatrefest productions and monologues from outstanding theatre majors honing their auditioning skills.
