Wimberley Annual Pie Social
Everyone, get your best pies ready for the Pie competition covering 5 different categories at the Wimberley Pie Social! Judging will take place that morning for Fruit, Cream, Nut, Specialty & Children’s Pies. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category. A Grand Prize for Best Pie will receive a special award and all winning pies will be auctioned. You can find a Pie Entry Form on www.WimWic.org or at the Visitors Center. Pies submitted for judging need to arrive at the Community Center 8:30-9:30am that day.
For over 32 years this function has been a highlight in Wimberley. The attendance is free and all funds raised from selling slices of pies and hot dogs will go directly to the Museum. A Pie Eating Contest will also be a part of the day along with music provided by Erik Hokkanen & Will Webster. If pie, hot dogs and music aren’t enough, Mini Equine 2U will have two of their therapy ponies in attendance for requisite hugs and FreedomCanines will be showing a few of their trained service dogs! Other Fun & Games will be happening as well.
