WRONGBIRD In-Store Performance & Record Signing
Wrongbird, the contrary canary of Austin Texas, claims the mantle of being the world’s premier (and only) WRONG-rock band helmed by Shinyribs keyboardist Eric Baker and guitarist/producer Michael Blake. Rounded out with bassist Dylan Hill or Mamalarky and Tim Smith, this songwriting vehicle most commonly takes the form of a four-piece band, but these characters have been known to add horns, strings, or background singers to their arrangements or whatever else the music leads them to. Their latest record Don't Quote Me On That showcases the wide swath of influences, and in a world of artists dropping singles promises to stand apart and be "an album for people that like albums."
