ICHI NI SAN SHI In-Store Performance & Record Signing
Literally meaning 1-2-3-4 in the On reading of Japanese numerals, Ichi Ni San Shi is an Austin, TX based electronic/experimental band sounding, in some respects, like a mash-up of 70s electronic giants Kraftwerk and 80s electronic New Wave a la Gary Numan and company. Formed in 2009, the band consists of Bill Jeffery (Manikin, Attic Ted, Night Viking, Stretford, Attack Formation), Amanda Jones (Night Viking), Sean Morales (Mora1esx, Stepbothers), Jonathan Horne (Heavy Meddo, Thor and Friends, Young Mothers), Brandon Crowe (Oh Beast, Gut, Gospel Truth), and Lisa Linbrugger. Their influences are numerous and cross multiple genres and styles of music, helping to create their unique and infectious sound. The band's brand new album, SOARY, was engineered by Stuart Sykes (Whites Stripes, Cat power, Van Lear Rose).
