Andrea Daniela Album Release Show
Official SXSW 2026 artist Andrea Daniela takes over The Cathedral on March 11 to debut Mariachi Mestiza y Mala Mujer and a new sound: mariachi alternativo. Think a bold fusion of traditional mariachi colliding with cumbia, pop, and hip-hop that celebrates culture, duality, womanhood, and self-made artistry — all delivered with the theatrical presence of a seasoned performer and founder of Houston’s first all-female mariachi band.
The release party doubles as an immersive art night: gallery exhibition of film photography shot in Jalisco, Mexico, behind-the-scenes screenings, official music videos, special guests, and a stripped-down live set of unreleased material with her fusion band. This stripped down live show will be raw, vulnerable, personal, and powerful while taking you on a journey between tradition and innovation proving that art knows no boundaries or borders.
Andrea will also perform during SXSW at La Onda Showcase (3/14) and Hotel Vegas (3/18).
