Dynamism and its Enemies
The Civitas Institute at UT Austin will host an all day symposium on "Dynamism and Its Enemies at Rowling Hall" on the UT campus. A breakfast at 8:00 am will be followed by sessions with Deirdre McCloskey on "Lessons from the Great Enrichment," Ryan Decker on "The Latest Trends in Entrepreneurship," Edmund Phelps on "Reflections on Mass Flourishing, 10 Years Later," Cass Sunstein on "Sludge, Stagnation, and Dynamism," Dan Shoagon on "The Housing and Migration Challenge," and Ed Glaeser on "Dynamism and Stagnation: An Outlook." We will close the symposium with a cocktail reception.
