Records at Republic Square
The Downtown Austin Alliance, in partnership with internationally acclaimed DJ Kay Cali, is launching a new musical experience called Records at Republic Square that will be held every Thursday starting Oct. 12 through Nov. 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Republic Square. The event is part of Downtown Alliance’s Musicians Activating Spaces program, which engages and elevates musicians by activating spaces with free live music in the heart of Downtown Austin. All members of the community are invited to attend the series, which highlights the rich tapestry of the Austin music scene with genres ranging from jazz to hip-hop and classical to rock.
