Operating since 1981, Red Salmon Arts (RSA) is home to a Chicana/o/x/Latina/o/x/Native American community center, recognized as one of Austin’s oldest bookstores, and is the longest running Latinx-focused bookstore in the Southwest. Our two-day festival will include writing workshops, readings, book signings, music, and mixers that will celebrate the literacy and literature of Chicanx, Latinx, and Indigenous writers, authors, storytellers and cultural keepers across the state of Texas. In addition, the public is invited to browse our books, enjoy music, children’s activities, and community at this family-friendly event!

Tabling at the event will feature regional booksellers, small presses, literary organizations and vendors including Aztlán Libre Press, Torch Literary Arts, Infrarrealista Review, Flowersong Press, Mouthfeel Press, Macondo Writers Workshop, Mexamericon, Latinx Pop Lab, Abode Press, Host Publications, and more!
