Justin Timberlake Tailgate
Omni Austin Hotel Downtown, located steps away from the Texas Capitol, Moody Center and Sixth Street, will host a Justin Timberlake Tailgate Party at its full-service restaurant, Capital A, from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31. Guests attending Justin Timberlake’s “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour” at Moody Center can stop by the hotel before the show to enjoy food, drinks, music and photo opportunities. This is the second iteration of Omni Austin Hotel Downtown’s new Tailgate Party Series, which they plan to host throughout the year to allow guests a place to go before hitting the concert scene or a night out in Austin’s bustling entertainment district.
Capital A will offer Justin Timberlake-themed cocktails, like the BYE-BYE-BYE Bluebird, with blueberry basil lemonade, Tito’s and Topo Chico; the SexyBack El Pepino, with Cointreau, lime juice, agave, Teremana tequila, pineapple, cucumber and basil; and the Forget Tomorrow Punch, with Texas honey, mint, pineapple juice, topo chico, strawberry ginger puree and more. For bites, guests can enjoy the Cry Me a River Tostada, with ancho chili, salsa verde, cotija, spicy pico, cilantro, crema and whipped avocado, and a selection of Can’t Stop the Feeling J.T. Cookies, including J.T. Sweet and Salty Double Chocolate Chip Cookies, Justin Lemon Coconut Cookies, Timberlake Spiced Peanut Butter Cookies and ATX White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies.
The event will also feature live music with Justin Timberlake cover songs, as well as a full-size cut-out of the singer for photos, making this the perfect pre-show activity.
