Southern Exposure Dinner Series at Olamaie
For $100 per person, the reservation includes a three-course meal and a seasonal welcome cocktail, with wine pairings available at an additional cost. Olamaie will develop a menu exclusive to the night, entirely different from its regular menu and the dinner from the previous month.
Though the dinners will be a joint effort between the two chefs, Chef Turner will take the reins from Chef Fojtasek, showcasing the skills she learned from cooking in Japan and at some of Austin’s best restaurants, like Juniper, Odd Duck, Uchi and Uchiko. Chef Turner has been at the helm of the Olamaie kitchen since late 2021 and has since made a name for herself in the Austin culinary community, including being named as CultureMap’s Rising Star Chef of the Year in 2022 and a 2022 James Beard Award semifinalist in the Emerging Chef category.
Future dinners in the series will feature a rotating guest chef, creating the three-course menu in collaboration with Chef Turner. Proceeds from the series will benefit the Jeremiah Program, an organization that aims to disrupt the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children.
