Adult Congenital Heart Association's Austin Walk for 1 in 100
We’re here to empower adults to take an active role in their cardiac care, to educate parents on the lifelong specialized care their young child will need in the future, and to support young adults through the transition to adult CHD care.
The Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) has been the trusted partner of those living in the U.S. with CHD for 25+ years, bringing together patients, family members, and medical professionals to create a community and support network. We work to empower the growing CHD population by advancing access to critical resources and specialized care that improve patient-centered outcomes. ACHA offers programs and services to adults with CHD, their families, and medical providers.
In 2024, we will host Walk for 1 in 100 events across the country to build awareness for a patient population that often goes unnoticed and to raise money for continued research, education, and outreach for the CHD community. We invite you to help us further our impact in your local community by participating in the Austin Walk for 1 in 100.
