HFC PRESENTS: LIVING IN OBLIVION
Tom DiCillo’s despair with the movie industry inspires his most well-known feature film, LIVING IN OBLIVION (1995). The film is a comic ode to “independent filmmaking”, a sharp satire that also never loses its respect for the artistic medium and its participants. Featuring a cast of actors who invested money in the feature so that they could take part, this film proves that it takes a village to make a movie.
