249th Marine Corps Birthday Ball hosted by the Marine Corps League Williamson County Detachment
Georgetown, Texas – The Marine Corps League Williamson County Detachment proudly invites the community to join them for the 249th Marine Corps Birthday Ball, a spectacular evening celebrating the proud heritage and traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps. The event will take place on November 9, 2024, at the Georgetown Community Center, located within the scenic San Gabriel Park at 445 E Morrow St. Festivities will commence at 5:00 PM and continue until 11:00 PM.
This year’s celebration promises an enchanting evening filled with camaraderie, honor, and tradition. Attendees can look forward to a special ceremony recognizing Marines past and present, as well as a traditional cake-cutting ceremony that commemorates the founding of the Corps. A delicious dinner will be served, followed by exciting silent and live auctions, raffles, and dancing to a festive atmosphere.
Tickets for the event are priced at $65 per person and are open to the public, making this an excellent opportunity for community members to show their support for the veteran community and engage in a meaningful celebration. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Marine Corps League Williamson County Detachment’s ongoing efforts to support veterans, local residents, and youth programs throughout Williamson County.
