Join Emmer & Rye this summer as they “break bread” with celebrated chefs from around Austin and San Antonio. On June 20, chef de cuisine Alexa Meija will host Sarah McIntosh of épicerie. The guest chef will take over Emmer & Rye’s sourdough bread service for the evening, with butter and various accouterments inspired by their restaurants. They will also offer a few special dishes available for one night only, in addition to Emmer & Rye’s normal dinner menu.
Reservations for Emmer & Rye’s Breaking Bread Guest Chef Series are available on OpenTable from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Reservations are highly encouraged, with walk-ins welcome as space allows.
