Vocalist Bruce Spelman Headlines The Backstage with Durawa .
Vocalist Bruce Spelman has the pipes and is the lead vocalist for Extreme Heat. During the ‘80s and ‘90s EXTREME HEAT’S eclectic, funky, jazz, and rock influenced and was heard throughout Texas as a constant presence in clubs, and music festivals all over the state. During this time the band released four albums and were the winners of readers’ polls, and was the subject of reviews and articles in Texas music publications. EXTREME HEAT is still playing Austin venues. Now you can hear Spelman at Durawa Tuesday with host Ernie Durawa, Will Owen Gage, and Lannie Hilboldt. Super show. Doors: 6:30pm. Tickets are $15 at the door. Tex-Mex and Margaritas are served in the showroom, and Ample Free Parking is a plus.
