The Johnny Staccato Band Headlines The Backstage with Durawa
The Johnny Staccato Band, named after a 50s crime TV series, is a trio consisting of ace veterans George Coyne, Chuck Ditto, and Dave Pichler offering an acoustic mix of blues, folk, rock, and Americana.
Besides their own originals, they’ll also be offering covers ranging from Tin Pan Alley favorites and Robert Johnson blues stalwarts to many roots-oriented artists like Tom Waits, John Hiatt, Richie Havens, Randy Newman, Traveling Wilburys, Buffalo Springfield, and Bob Dylan. They will be appearing with the Ernie Durawa Durawa Band. Tasty Tex-Mex and $5 Margaritas are served in the showroom and ample free parking is a plus. Tickets are only $15 at the door. It's always a super show so come on down to The Backstage at El Mercado South.
