Johnny Burgin, an American Blues guitarist, Headlines The Backstage with the Durawa Band.
Ernie Durawa welcomes blues guitarist and harmonica player, Johnny Burgin, to headline Durawa Tuesdays for the first time. Burgin plays both Chicago and Electric Blues and is currently on a multi national tour. In 2023, Burgin earned a BMA Nomination for Best Traditional Blues Artist playing 200 dates across the USA, Mexico, Japan, and Europe. Johnny released seven CDs between 2010 and 2020. We are lucky to have this talented artist play Durawa Tuesdays. Come on down to The Backstage at El Mercado South. El Mercado is located at 1302 First St. S. Doors: 6:30 pm. Downbeat: 7:00 pm.
