The Baca’s are talented musicians with Max on bajo sexto, and Josh on accordion.
In 2009, they won a Grammy Award with Los TexManics for Best Tejano Album for their album "Borders y Bailes." Their music often reflects the cultural influences of the Texas-Mexico border region, and they have been ambassadors of conjunto music, promoting it to wider audiences around the world. They are featured in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC. On November 12 , Josh and Max Baca return to headline the Backstage with the legendary Texas Tornado, Ernie Durawa, Will Owen Gage, and Lannie Hillboldt. The duo is a Durawa Tuesdays fan favorite.
