Hank Shaw is a James Beard Award–winning author known for his approachable, flavorful cookbooks that celebrate the connection between food and place. His new book, Borderlands, explores the flavors of the U.S.–Mexico borderlands, including Texas and northern Mexico — the heart of sotol country and home to Desert Door. This special night brings together Shaw’s newest recipes with the unique taste of Texas sotol.
