About The Austin Séance: Featured on NPR, in Texas Monthly and other media outlets, The Austin Séance is a creative and experimental collaboration devoted to the history and practice of American séances and Spiritualism. Led by Artistic Director Albert Lucio and Editorial Director Jake Cordero, this collaboration has operated from its home base in Central Texas since 2016. Our work includes séance demonstrations in museums and other public institutions, occult workshops, occult lectures and academic seminars. The Austin Séance also operates an editorial division.
