Learn about various women scientists and their contributions to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through interactive demos and hands-on activities for kids of all ages. Participants will learn about polymers, design a straw rocket that defies gravity, learn about renewable and nonrenewable energy while creating a mini solar oven, and more! Visitors will also have the opportunity to chat with the City of Austin Transportation Department about the Austin Core Transportation Plan, a new mobility plan looking at space trade-offs on downtown streets.
