Come anytime from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to this open house event: Enjoy refreshments in the Grand Lobby Explore the Sharks special exhibition Learn about evolutionary adaptations, see the prehistoric mega-predator megalodon, hunt like a hammerhead shark, and discover how scientists identify sharks in fun interactive activities throughout the exhibition Preview the documentary film Great White Shark in the Texas Spirit Theater Try your hand at some hands-on activities that you can take back to your classroom Meet with local organizations for opportunities for classroom connections Pick up educator resources to supplement your classroom curriculum for a deeper dive into sharks and ocean habitats Explore remodeled areas of the Texas History Galleries with new artifacts and stories on display The event is free of charge, and parking is complimentary in the Museum’s garage.
