Local Art Sale Austin has become a destination for art collectors. To celebrate, we are hosting an art sale of our own! Join us May 18th and 19th only, as we offer affordable art from local artists priced at $500 or less. The following venues will be opening their doors from 12-6pm both days: Almost Real Things ArtUsCo Bolm Arts Gallery Good Dad Studios Something Cool Studios Tin Whistle Art Gallery Map your own course and stop at each venue as you tour around the city. Maps will be available at each location or you can find it online at www.bolmarts.org/events Almost Real Things Interactive Touch the Art experience —where touching the art is allowed and encouraged! Visit our ART HQ to interact with installations and touchable pieces from 40+ artists, plus collaborators from the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Works of art for $500 or less will be available to purchase as you have an experience that evokes all of the senses! Ticket prices: $12 for children under 13 and $20 for adults. Artist studios will be open as well as the gift shop with many works of art under $500. Bolm Arts Bolm Arts gallery will be packed salon-style with art from collective members as well as guest artists. All work in the gallery will be priced $500 and below! Resident artists will be opening their studios both days. Sunday also includes a studio garage sale, where artists will sell unwanted art supplies and studio furniture, and a food pop up serving gourmet hot dogs, Grandpa’s Glizzy’s! Free to visit. Good Dad Studios Join us for Austin Mystical Market in our parking lot on May 18th from 11-4pm. Good Dad Studios proudly accommodates more than 130 artists in over 100 studios, making us the largest artist studio collective in Texas. Studios will be open both days of the sale. Free to visit. Artist studios will be open both days. Mystical Market on Saturday only Something Cool Studios Experience “I Saw the Sign” art show featuring over 50 artists from Austin and around the country. Curated by Good Luck Buddah, in collaboration with Hail Mary Productions. This showcase celebrates the raw and captivating beauty found in repurposed street signs. Free to visit. The gallery will have many affordable works of art under $500. Tin Whistle Art Gallery Located at Bolm Studios, Tin Whistle Art Gallery, run by artist and musician John Wesley Coleman, has been operating for over 6 years. Join us for Mayday Mayday Art Show. Art will be on display featuring Aric Cheston, Brock Caron, Janna Garza and Chris Miller. Many works under $500 will be available for purchase. Free to visit.
