Speedrun Studios presents an out-of-time Denmark defying gender norms with an expressionist, energized, queer-inspired take on history's most produced play. Ghost sightings, sword fighting, vengeful plots, and evil men in power meeting the ends they deserve: this "HAMLET" tells the struggles of noble youth of yesterday from the voices of those facing the struggles of today. Blending Elizabethan English with modern text translations in collaboration with "Play On Shakespeare!", this production seeks to ask new questions from audiences both brand new to The Bard, and those who know his words by heart.
