Shred Day at Amplify Credit Union
Did you know that adults in the U.S. lost a record $10 billion to fraudulent activity in 2023?
With tax season in full swing, Amplify Credit Union is opening its doors for its first Shred Day on Thursday, March 21, to help people across the Austin region practice smarter security with their personal information.
Those in attendance will receive complimentary document destruction services—for both personal and small business documents— from RW Lone Star Security. To make you feel even better about your decision to shred, the paper waste created onsite will also be processed and recycled.
Gather up your old tax documents, checks, credit cards and any other sensitive paperwork and make plans to join Amplify for lunch and professional—and secure—document shredding. Food will be available for purchase onsite to make this an effective and efficient lunch break!
