Let's Get Cookin' to Benefit Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City
Let's Get Cookin' will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the Showboat Resort Atlantic City. General Admission is from 6-8 pm and VIP Admission is from 5-8 pm with access to the VIP lounge.
“We're thrilled to revive the beloved culinary tradition of Let's Get Cookin' here in Atlantic City,” said Charles A. Wallace II, CEO, Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. “This event not only showcases the culinary talents of our community but also provides crucial support for our club. By coming together to cook, taste, and celebrate, we're making a real difference in the lives of local youth, empowering them to thrive and succeed. We invite chefs, sponsors, and the community to join us in this exciting endeavor.”
South Jersey Men & Women R’ Cookin’ was created in 2001 as a cooking contest and community event to raise funds and awareness to the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. The event features 100 Amateur and Professional Chefs who decorate their space and create delicious recipes to be sampled by the attendees and judged in a variety of categories. Each attendee receives a bound recipe book.
Proceeds from Let’s Get Cookin’ 2024 will directly contribute to sustaining and expanding the various programs offered by the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. By providing a safe and welcoming environment, the club empowers youth to build a brighter future.
The event is chaired by Larry Sieg, President and CEO, Meet AC, and Sharon Franz, Sales & Marketing Director, Steel Pier. A committee of professionals are volunteering their time to work with ACBGC staff to coordinate the event.
