New Commercial, Residential Development in AC Tour & Lunch
ATLANTIC CITY—Continuing a summer tradition, the Public Relations Council of Greater Atlantic City will take its June meeting outdoors for a tour of new residential and commercial developments in Atlantic City. The exclusive event will run from noon to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, with registration starting at 11:30 a.m.
Attendees will travel by jitney to see projects in progress and meet developers and walk through several completed projects. The tour will include a stop for lunch at the iconic Irish Pub.
Developers Pat Fasano and Keith Groff are among those who will greet tour-goers. Fasano recently opened The James on St. James Place, which has a commercial tenant and residential units for rental, and is building town homes along the infamous “Snake Alley.” In the 1930s, the road was lined with brothels, gay bars and places of illegal gambling; last year it was renamed Schultz-Hill Boulevard. Groff is building attached town homes called Lighthouse Row, across from Absecon Lighthouse.
The jitney tour will leave from North Beach Mini Golf & Bike Rental, 120 Euclid Ave., Atlantic City. Members of the public are invited to attend. Cost is $45 for members and $60 for non-members with a reservation; walk-ins are charged an additional $5. Reservation deadline is 4 p.m., Friday, June 21.
