Meet Artist Cathleen Engelsen at the OCL Long Beach Island Branch
SURF CITY – Take your imagination on a trip along the coast of the Garden State. The Ocean County Library Long Beach Island Branch invites you to visit “The Iconic Jersey Shore with Cathleen Engelsen,” 6:30 PM Tuesday, August 13.
Cathleen will entertain and inspire you with stories of her favorite spots and with her original paintings, commissions, and photographs of the Shore in bygone eras. After the presentation, join Cathleen for her Art Reception in the Branch’s meeting room.
Through oils, acrylics and watercolors, Cathleen captures New Jersey’s colorful coast and historic heritage. Her depiction of Princeton University’s Cannon Green appears in Princeton’s Palmer Inn. The McDonald’s restaurant chain commissioned her works in Toms River, Manahawkin, Lakehurst, Ocean Township, Howell and Burlington.
