Mark O'Kain, Marimba and Xylophone

Mark O’Kain & Jeffrey Uhlig present “Classics to Ragtime” – This delightful program includes classical favorites, unique arrangements of familiar music, and toe-tapping ragtime selections. The concert is fun to watch as well as to hear – seeing the xylophone and marimba with piano.
Mark has performed on the Broadway National tours of “Les Miserables”, “Edward Scissorhands”, “Mary Poppins”, “ The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess”, The King & I” and most recently with “My Fair Lady”. He is a former member of “The President’s Own – United States Marine Band”. Mark is the Principal Percussionist of the Ocean City POPS Orchestra.
Jeff holds the Lilian Kraus Felber Distinguished Faculty Chair in Piano at the Settlement Music School where he has taught for over 30 years. He performs regularly as a collaborative pianist with many outstanding singers and instrumentalists – including many members of the Metropolitan Opera and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
