Jeffrey Ross & JB Smoove

JEFFREY ROSS and JB SMOOVE. Event Date: Friday, October 22, 2010 at 9:00 pm Facility: MUSIC BOX at The Borgata. Jeffrey Ross is feared and revered for his appearances at celebrity roasts. In fact, making fun of people is a way of life for Jeffrey Ross. Called "an heir apparent to such old-school masters as Buddy Hackett and Rodney Dangerfield" by the New York Times, Ross has memorably and uproariously roasted many of America's favorite stars. His first book, "I Only Roast The Ones I Love: Busting Balls Without Burning Bridges," was released by Simon Spotlight Entertainment, a division of Simon & Schuster. He appeared in "The Comedy Central Roast of Joan Rivers" and the "Roast of David Hasselhoff."Jeff also stars in a popular Comedy Central stand-up DVD, "Jeffrey Ross: No Offense -- Live From New Jersey," as well as "Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie," an award-winning documentary he directed about his experience entertaining U.S. troops in Iraq. JB Smoove most recently starred as series regular Leon Black on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and the Fox sitcom "'Til Death." He can also be seen with Steve Carell in the film "Date Night" and as Manny on "Everybody Hates Chris." Smoove is a gifted writer, comedian and actor who continues to entertain audiences all over the world with his unique brand of comedic funk. After moving to Los Angeles 10 years ago, he landed a recurring role on MTV's "The Lyricist Lounge Show," as well as featured guest spots on "The Chris Rock Show" and Comedy Central's "Premium Blend." Smoove's first big feature film role was narrating and starring in the now cult classic "Pootie Tang" with actor/comedian Chris Rock. Next, he paired up with Adam Sandler to co-star in "Mr. Deeds." The collaboration between the two was so successful that Smoove signed a writing deal with both Revolution Studios and Happy Madison.
