STEAM Thursdays: HC Camp - Challenger Island Boston Tea Party
In alignment with the 250 year celebration of the American Revolution, join Challenge Island to recreate the Boston Tea Party of 1773 at the Avalon History Center. Challenge Island's S.T.E.A.M. program will explore the who, what, when and where of the event, and challenge kids to make their own protesters, ship and catapult launchers to recreate the event. The event turns all fun when kids write their own rules of a game and compete with the other STEAM Teams. It is sure to be an amazing challenge! This activity is for ages 7 to 12. Registration required. Attendees under 8 must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
